Clay

Ingredients:

1 cup water

1 cup salt

1cup cornstarch

1. Mix 1 cup water and 1 cup cornstarch.

2. Heat in a saucepan over medium heat until the mixture thickens.

3. Add 1 cup salt.

4. Stir together in the saucepan until the mixture forms a firm ball.

5. Remove from the stove.

6. Use immediately or store the clay in a sealed plastic bag.

The clay can be flattened or rolled into shapes, and then air-dried for several days until rock hard.  For immediate results, bake or microwave the clay.  After the clay has hardened, it may be painted and decorated.
